Create a new image of roughly 130 pixels square with a transparent background.
Choose a colour and draw a circle filled with the chosen colour as in figure 1. Ensure that the anti-alias box is checked at all times.
Whilst vector one is selected, choose to “convert to rastor layer” in the layers menu.
 Figure 2
Play around with the different settings until you have the desired effect. The setting I have used are: bevel no.2; width 8; colour white; smoothness 31; depth 20; ambience 0; Shininess 17; angle 315; intensity 55; and elevation 32.
You should then be left with an eyelet looking similar to figure 5.
 Figure 4
Play about with the settings in the opened menu box until you are happy with the shadow. In figure 6, I have used the settings: Vertical 3; Horizontal 6; Opacity 65; Blur 5; and colour black. You can choose to create the shadow on the same layer or a second layer. I normally choose to use the same layer as it is much simpler when moving your eyelet around on the page.

 Figure 1
Using the selection tool, select a smaller circle in the centre of the coloured circle. (See figure 2)
Press delete to clear the selected area as in figure 3 and “select none” in the selections menu.
From the effects menu, select 3D effects and then inner bevel. A box should then appear with several settings like in figure 4.
 Figure 3
If you wish you could then choose to create a shadow to your eyelet. This can either be done in this image, or you can create the shadow in your final scrapbooking page.
To create a drop shadow:
Select the eyelet in the image, and choose 3D effects and then drop shadow from the effects menu.
