The main focus of the page is the photographs so the design of this page is very simple. Photographs of a young child with her parents and grandparents in the garden provide the green colour scheme to the page. Pale green and yellow papers are used as borders for the page and letter accents spelling “family” are threaded onto a piece of ribbon tied to the page. Some more ribbon, a few punched hearts and a gold frog embellishment keeps the page simple but effective.
A natural coloured background made with torn papers make the ideal page for this photograph that has been made sepia coloured using a computer. Cream ribbon is threaded through hessian ribbon and embroidered mirrors are added down the left hand side of the page. The title is made using a stamped key and stamped letters onto more natural coloured papers.
Hearts are punched into the bottom of the border to the photograph, this a then mounted onto a green script page. Vintage letter brads are attached to rectangles of deep green card and mounted across the bottom of the page. Punched hearts in the same colours of the border and greeting are stuck to the left hand side of the page as though floating down it. |
