This tutorial will show you how to create this simple card for Mother's Day. The greeting and design can be adapted to create a card for any occasion.

Cut a circle of the purple patterned paper slightly larger than the stamp.

Using the dark purple pigment ink pad and the silver pearl embossing powder, emboss the butterfly onto the circle as shown in figure 1.

Stick two lengths of riboon across the bottom of the card. Cut two small pieces of the purple ribbon, fold in half and secure to the card using the two large brads.

Spell out your greeting using the silver rub-on transfers and attach three brads to the top right of the card.

Cut a rectangle of the pink patterned paper as shown in figure 3. Stick it to the top right of the blank card.

Stick the circle to the bottom of the rectangle (see figure 3).
